Just Roots Consulting, LLC is a Certified LGBT Business Enterprise and social enterprise dedicated to co-creating a kind, compassionate, fair, and sustainable world for us all to exist and thrive together.
Founded in 2018, we provide anti-racism, anti-oppression, and LGBTQ+ inclusion and equity education, coaching, and consulting services for nonprofits, public agencies, worker-owned coops, and other mission-driven organizations, community groups, and individual leaders nationwide. We are your one-stop-shop for employee and workforce belonging services. A dedicated portion of our profit supports LGBTQ+ entrepreneurs of color.
All projects are managed by our founder Milo Primeaux, Esq. (he/they/bear), and project teams always include LGBTQ+ people, people of color, and/or people with disabilities.

In these ever-changing and ever-worsening conditions of our world, our Just Roots Team reaffirms our understanding of what's happening around us and our commitment to the necessary collective work of healing ourselves, each other, and our world together:

We believe that white supremacy, cisheteropatriarchy, and racial capitalism (which is to say, capitalism) are in their death throes. They are lashing out wildly and violently because they are dying, albeit slowly -- it will likely take a very long time. We all have front row seats to the sad, terrible final act of this centuries-long tragedy.

Things will get far worse before they get different or anything resembling better.

People who love justice, who love love, and who love life must band together and be in solidarity with each other. Our connection is our power, and it is our best antidote to the abusive systems that seek to destroy us and everything we love.

The Just Roots Team is not intimidated by bullying and fearmongering around anti-DEIB, anti-immigrant, anti-transgender, "anti-woke” ideology, rhetoric, and policies. The harms caused by these are very real and will get worse. We also understand that it is an inevitable part of the Great Turning in our time on the Clock of the World – the enormous unnatural beasts of white supremacy, cisheteropatriarchy, and capitalism must die in order for something new to be born in their place, and they will not go quietly into that good night. We must do everything we can to survive its demise.

I am a white queer transgender Lebanese American, speculative writer, and former civil rights attorney.
I am a natural bridger of people, holder of challenging spaces, death doula of harmful systems, and co-builder of different and (hopefully) better futures for us all. In all things, I pride myself in leading with integrity, curiosity, and care, valuing clarity, compassion, trustful relationships, and generative accountability.
